This morning a friend sent me a worried email about a recent Yahoo/Associated Press poll that seems to prove that white people are still racist, and this will cost Obama the election. I'm here participating in the link-bait that is already starting to spread because in this case I have something really personal and specific to say about this survey, as a member of the panel the polling company uses.

Bottom line: The answer is not to worry about this poll; the answer is to dismiss the poll results as the unsurprising opinions of the 2,000 bigots who could stomach completing it!!
