Wyoming and hate
It is hard to imagine that hate is not only tolerated, but justified in some areas of our country. Sadly, once again Wyoming is such a place. Wheatland High School, Wyoming, participated in a program called "No Place for Hate," sponsored by the ADL, as well as a number of other organizations including a Gay and Lesbian organization from Colorado.
The school board voted to remove the poster because of the gay and lesbian groups sponsorship, according to the school board the program against hate was condoning gay marriage. In essence the school boards actions are driven by fear and hate, the irony is simply amazing.
You can help by joining the Facebook group, set up by the kids of Wheatland High, who want the posters (and program) back in their school.
